Today is my cousin Bryson’s Birthday Party! He is turning 7 in a few days. Mommy and me are going to go to the birthday party via face time later today so we can say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! & watch him open presents and blow out his candles! It is the next best thing to being there when we are 1400 miles away.

Today for the very first time I got to meet nana and papa George for the very first time. Nana did most of the talking but papa George said hi. Nana said she can not wait for us to get to California. She kept asking for my mommy to take off my bow. We talked about my ear rings and all my bows and that I am always smiling in my pictures.

20 more days and we will head to California to finally meet everyone. We are excited and sad all at the same time.

Today I tried a sippy cup for the first time with juice in it. I haven’t mastered it but I am not completely horrible either. I’ll keep working at it.

Tonight we had a rain/hail storm that came from no where. It started to scare me and I started to cry. It lasted about 30 minutes and the hail got to be the size of baseballs in some areas of town. It messed up Nolan’s car pretty good and when he went to move his car he got hit in the head with a big piece of hail.

Tonight nanny will head to Bakersfield, Ca for the last time before we head there to make it our new home on July 6, 2012!! I am sad to see her leave but know she will be back in 5 sleeps. I’m very jealous she gets to see my cousins I REALLY can not wait to meet them and Uncle Sean. I also can not wait to see papa and Aunt Janelle again!!! But, for the next few days it’s me and mommy time. Oh and Nolan will come hang out too!

Today we are doing a lot of shopping with mommy, nanny and Nolan! I need formula, wipes, black shorts, a cart/high chair cover, and anything else mommy finds that we think I need.

Today I am 5 months old. I am still on the same schedule but now we added the fruit baby food for breakfast. Mommy and nanny keep me on schedule 9AM 6oz bottle, play/cartoons, 10Am fruit baby food with cereal, more play & cartoons, sometimes a little cat nap, 12PM nap, 3PM up with 6oz bottle, sometimes I will take a cat nap, but then play time, 8PM veggies with cereal, relax time with cartoons, 9PM bath & bottle, then asleep for about 8-10 hours. I am starting to laugh and giggle a lot. I still smile all the time. I love to cuddle with mommy and Nolan is still funny and amazing.

Today my first tooth came through!! Mommy can feel it. Mommy says the tooth next to it will be next and she can already feel it under my gums. Bring on the solids! Just kidding mommy- I know I am going up too fast so we can hold off on the solids until I get more teeth.

I am all ready for summer. I have tons of glass and a few bathing suits! Here is my favorite bathing suit so far!

I can’t wait to get to Bakersfield, Ca and swim with all my friends and mommy’s friends too! Only 33 days left until we start to make our way to California!
